What this is
A set of free document tools published by Deplyra Ltd. Using them means accepting what is written here. There is no account and nothing to sign up for.
What we promise
That the tools work as the pages describe, and that your documents are not sent to us. The second is the one we have engineered for and test on every deploy; see Privacy for how.
What we do not promise
- That the output is correct for your purpose. Edge detection guesses. Compression discards. Look at the result before you rely on it.
- That the site is available. It is free, it runs on one server, and it may be down.
- That a browser will cope. These tools do real work on your device. A 300-page PDF on a five-year-old phone may run out of memory, and the tab will fail rather than finish.
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, Deplyra Ltd is not liable for loss arising from using them. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
Your files, your responsibility
Because nothing is uploaded, we have no copy of anything you process. If your browser crashes mid-way, the work is gone and we cannot recover it — keep your original.
Do not use these tools for anything unlawful. We cannot see what you process, which places that entirely with you.
The app and Pro
Scanly for Android is a separate product with its own terms, shown in the app. Nothing can be purchased on this website.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did. Substantive changes will not be applied retroactively to work you have already done, which is straightforward here, because we hold nothing.
